Professor Richard PriceProfessor Richard Price
Richard is Managing Director of Kiri-ganai Research, and has a wealth of experience in managing national research programs addressing the sustainability and health of the Australian environment and related Australian industries.

Following an early career in the Australian Departments of Productivity and then Trade, he worked in Japan including at the University of Nagasaki. Here he learnt the discipline of observation that later underpinned his masters and doctoral studies in political science and sociology. Richard returned to Australia where he was involved in the rural research reforms of the 'John Kerin' era, and was the last man standing when it came to writing the Primary Industries & Energy R&D Act 1989. He helped set up the Land & Water Resources R&D Corporation and is known to many as having established a wide range of national research programs including the National Dryland Salinity Program, Managing Climate Variability Program and the Social and Institutional Research Program among many others.

Richard jointly won an Australian Banksia Award in 2008 for his oversight of the largest agricultural biodiversity project ever undertaken in Australia. In 2009 he was appointed as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Southern Queensland and an Adjunct Fellow at the Australian National University.

Dr Richard PriceJudy Andrews
Judy is the Kiri-ganai Research's Executive Coordinator, responsible for overseeing office management , client liaison and the coordination of all executive functions.

Judy has had a long and distinguished career as one of Australia's finest super secretaries, serving some of the country's most notable chief executives, chairmen and natural resource management personalities. Prior to joining Kiri-ganai Research, Judy managed the executive office of the Murray Darling Basin Commission, providing comprehensive executive aid to two of its chief executive officers.


Daniel GoodeDaniel Goode
Daniel is a Research Officer with Kiri-ganai Research. As a Research Officer, he undertakes research and analysis tasks to underpin the diverse range of projects undertaken by the company.

An avid traveller, Daniel has worked in Europe and Asia and studied in Japan and in China. Daniel completed his Bachelor of Arts (Languages) with Monash University in 2007 and has a very diverse academic background ranging from philosophy to physics. He shares Kiri-ganai Research's values and philosophy about bringing multi-cultural and multi-disciplinary skills to bear on complex issues.


kerri priceKerri Price
Kerri is the Business Manager of Kiri-ganai Research. She has many years experience in overseeing project and program management systems.

In recent years Kerri has managed the quality assurance systems of a range of organisations, including those accredited under ISO 9001 (administrative systems) and ISO 14000 (environmental management systems). She has worked in a research and education environment for over ten years.

Kerri has a Masters in Business Administration and degrees in Economics and Business Management.

Laura Harris
Laura is an Executive Officer with Kiri-ganai Research with several years experience in administering research programs.

Laura's primary role is to provide the executive administrative support for the Managing Climate Variability in Agriculture Program, and as such she has been posted to the office of the Grains Research and Development Corporation, which administers that program.
